How we started...
I am Shaalini, the woman behind the camera at Chubby Clicks, a children photography service. This is my way of combining motherhood with one of my passions - photography.
Since my daughter’s birth, I have been on a mission to capture the moments I treasure as a mother— her innocence, smile, spontaneous expressions, actions and even tantrums. When I capture our family’s special moments and share them, I realise that everyone gets a sense of the love that binds us together. It reminds us who we live for.
Soon, my daughter will grow up. But I will be able to fondly look back at the pictures of times spent together and surround myself with beautiful memories of her growing up.
After a ten year career in media and communications, I wanted to share the joy of photographing children and creating memories with other parents. Thus was born - Chubby Clicks.
I offer to capture beautiful moments of children, mothers-to-be and families in their homes or my studio. The focus is on capturing natural emotions and creating artistic keepsakes.
